Vitamins are complex organic compounds that are required by the body in small amounts. Vitamins are needed by the body for normal growth and metabolism.

Vitamin A has properties of being an anti-oxidant and anti-cancer. It is being used to treat dry skin, keeps the mucous membranes healthy and improves night vision. Vitamin A can be extracted from dairy, fish and liver.

Vitamin B helps relieve stress, helps in carbohydrate metabolism, used during excess alcohol intake, to strengthen the nervous system, energy metabolism, it also helps lowering the cholesterol.

Vitamin C also has the anti-oxidant and anti-cancer properties. It helps strengthen the immune system, prevents diseases, and keeps the blood capillaries healthy.

Vitamin D regulates the calcium and phosphorus metabolism and makes the bones and teeth strong.

Vitamin E has anti-oxidant and anti-cancer properties. It controls the inflammation, helps in normal reproduction, as well as muscle development. It keeps the heart and blood vessels healthy and lowers the cholesterol. It is also really effective in dry skin treatments.

Anti-oxidants provide a protective function, because the block the formation of damaging by-products that is being generated in our body as the food is being converted to energy. Super anti-oxidant supplements can interfere with some of the oxidative pathways and should be used with great caution.
