Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy is the use of volatile plant oils, which include essential oils that are used for psychological and physical well being.

The aromatherapy is used to relax the mind and body and also for the purposes to heal the body.

The medical science says that people who are going through severe stress have very low activity levels of immune system and hence they are prone to infections.  If we look at this very closely, we can see as how stress affects our body’s defense mechanism, and on the other hand the aromatherapy makes you relax and smooth in your mind, therefore this therapy can help to make your immune system work much much better.

This is not the only thing where the aromatherapy can work but it is used in the cancer patients who are going through severe stress and pain and aromatherapy is being used with great benefits in such patients, as well as many other illnesses.  This therapy is used with much better results in people who are suffering from autism.

Aromatherapy has an important effect on our moods, in which the brain detects the fragrance through olfactory bulbs, which are located very close to the emotional center in the limbic system.

Aromatherapy essential oils can be inhaled, massaged, added to bath water or can be heated in a variety of ways to add fragrance to the environment.  Some essential oils are so relaxing that they promote sleep especially germanium, juniper, lavender, neroli, lemongrass, ylang ylang and sandalwood.

The oils used in the aromatherapy are changed after every four to five days so that the brain does not adapt to it and has a wonderful change every time a new oil is being added.

Aromatherapy is a new world of comfort and enjoyment and must be experience once to have its taste.
